It seems like halloween in our house every day.

Since were always having a dress up party at our house -today was really no different, except that she got to got to a PARTY while dressed up!

We had trunk or treat on Friday night so we got to do a "dress rehearsal" on our costumes. Paige's came together once I found the orange spray in the closet from last year - With the orange hair and eye brows she REALLY looks like she is Craigs daughter :)

This one- I just laughed at him all night :) At first he couldnt stop waving and trying to figure out the new "PAW" he had covering his hand. It was very entertaining. He looks SO CUTE!

Before we left for the party I layed down the ground rules:

1. Mom gets all the Snickers candies and anything else she deems worthy to eat out of Paiges candy bucket.

Paige wasnt so sure that was a good plan :)

Mason and I sat in our trunk and handed out candy to about 500 kids :)

We had THRILLER blasting out of our trunk and Mason and I just had a dance party with ourselves:) I didnt know he could head bob so well . haha.

His first sucker...he would have swallowed it if id let him.

I think I have a "problem"......... :)

(ill get to my problem in a minute) :)

We had a full day planned on Saturday to make our annual treck down to Bates Nut Farm to pick out our pumpkins & visit family. We had a slight change in plans and had to go to Plan B. So I searched around to find something else fun to do locally and saw Cal Poly Pomona was having thier pumkin patch this weekend.....and it looked pretty fun. Yeah...up until we drove up to it and saw about 100 people crossing the street each way from the pumpkins to the parking lot carrying thier WHEEL BARROWS AND WAGONS full of like 15 pumpkins each I knew we had NO idea what we were getting ourselves into :)

We can check this pumpkin patch off the list-been there done that....TOO CRAZY :)

But we did have a fun time and it fullfilled my obsession with pictures of pumpkins.

So back to my "problem"

I CAN NOT TAKE ENOUGH PICTURES OF PUMPKINS.

The colors of the orange pumpkins, Green grass, and Blue skys just KILL me...and I cant stop my obsession with snapping EVERY pumpkin I see. I keep saying to myself, its just a Pumpkin....hello....not pretty....but the colors...I just cant stop.

So there are a LOT of pictures in this post, I could have put a LOT more but I held back :)

Obama or McCain??!!

So, Last week, I was going through all the ads that came in the newspaper on Sunday.

Paige walked over and started looking over the Party City Halloween ad.

She then said

"thats funny, an OBAMA mask!"

I looked up, and said What did you just say??

"an obama mask mom" - "look!"

I looked over at Craig and started laughing.

I could NOT believe my 3 year old could recognize that picture as "Obama"!!!!

Thinking, there is NO way she would know the other guy running for president....and so I took the Ad and asked "ok, what is that guys name?!"

She then says after thinking a second "John McCain!"

OH MY GOSH!!!!! we were in hysterics.

She then thought what she was saying was halarious because we were laughing out of shock, and so she begins saying "Barack Obama, John McCain" over and over.

I could NOT get over that she knew both of thier (full) names, let alone realize thier faces made into masks.

10 years......

10 years ago tomorrow...

My "Papa" left this Earth and returned back to our Father in Heaven.

I just wanted to "pay tribute" since it seems so short but then again 10 years seems SO LONG.

He was the most wonderful father, who thought of us kids first and we KNEW that!

We were blessed to have him in our lives for the very short time we had as kids.

I had just graduated high school .

This is him and I at a daddy daughter Girl Scout Hoe down....Im sure he was "thrilled" to be going :)

I love this picture. Its my "life" as I knew it, on a boat in the ocean. I really didnt know any different. Its where we had most of our traditions and family memories.

We all have the face of "just smile and wave....dont tell mom what we were just up to" :)

He would leave us notes in the morning before he left for work. This is one of the last ones he had left and I just found it in my box and im REALLY glad I saved it. Just holding onto a paper he wrote on is priceless. even if it does have this scary Realtor on it :) Im honestly suprised she doesnt have a moustache drawn on her :)

Sibling Fun.

Mason is VERY easily entertained by Paige-and she really can do NO wrong by him! She pretty much could pound his face and he would STILL be laughing....I think he has a very contagous laugh and Its so cute I had to share it :)

Call me crazy..... :)

but, We ventured out this morning to get some things done...and on my way to the freeway I saw those alluring Golden Arches and a big cup of Coke with Ice entered my mind....so we pulled in to get my pick me up for the day :) I noticed the Happy Meal toys were MINIATURE Wizard of Oz dolls and I sort of flipped my lid :)

I love MINI things, and how could I pass up "collecting them all"???? Well, they only had 10 of the 12 so were on a hunt for the Lolipop boy and a flower munchkin.....

I love them! Thier eyes even open and close :)
And I LOVE that they have been entertaining this one ALL day long!

Any excuse to have smores.

Since August when we came home from beach camping, our tent has been sitting there waiting to be put away. Problem is it was still full of sand/dirt. We had to set it up again to get it cleaned up so we just turned the backyard into a "campout" last Friday night. We had the bonfire going for smores. I walked back there, smelled the YUMMY bonfire smell and for a second pretended we were not in Corona and I could hear the waves crashing... :)

Paige was all ready to take her Daddy on a night hike through the backyard....
At that point I went in, and told him it was Daddy date night and I got to catch up on some shows alone on the couch :)

They layed in the tent (or should I say she bounced all over the tent and Craig layed there) until about 9 and then came in to crash in thier own beds.

Paige and I have been talking about having a Lemonade stand ALL summer, and of course summer's now over and it hasnt happened......until Monday! She asked if we could have a stand, and since it is still 95 degrees out we had an official business set up in our driveway.

Taylor has also wanted to join in so it made for a really fun afternoon for them!

This video was "early on" in thier sales attempts.....

They slowly got less enthusiastic and walked with thier arms behind thier backs in a circle and had long discussions on why the cars were not stopping?! and they figured that the problem was that "they were not shouting Lemonade loud enough". Simple solution I guess.

Shes still talking about whether or not I think the people have drank thier lemonade yet or not. Lets hope so!

It was all fun and games until the Bees decided to invade and take a swim in the Lemonade!

By the time the Dads came home the Bees had left and they both had a nice big glass of the Bees swimming pool.....YUM :) What they do to make thier daughters happy.

Cant wait for our winter HOT CHOCOLATE STAND!! Ill be the #1 customer!

SO I am once again a back on the wagon of obtaining my motherly advice :)

Honestly its because I LOVE getting magazines, catalogs, really ANY type of catalog-ill look through ANYTHING that comes to my mailbox for free just to have "vegging" time on the couch to look aimlessly at a bunch of useless things i "could" buy-yes, its my window shopping WITH NO kids!

I guess a few "helpful" hints from Parenting couldnt hurt either right?!

No first day of school stories....just Disneyland fun.

Labor day we decided to head to Disneyland once again. We went last year to try and get on NEMO (which we did) and it wasnt crowded at all so we decided to try again this year to get on the new Toy story ride.

We got to Cal Adventure around 9:45 and at 10-they let down the ropes to RUN with all the other crazies. Craig ran ahead (good thing that 5K prepped him) haha - we only waited about 30 minutes for it....

Such a good ride!!!

I sat with Mason and I still had a blast....hope the lines calm down a little soon so we can go again.
So, I am not sure Ill be taking my kids on this anymore....this may be the first and last time with Mason ..... I GET SOOO SICK ON IT :) Yup. Im DONE :)

Paige went on her 1st ROLLERCOASTER ride in Toon town.

She was a little nervous....her face through the whole thing was pretty serious...but as soon as it stopped she yelled out

THAT WAS FUN!!!

So I knew I hadnt traumatized her- :)

Mason is so funny when we take pictures. when people call his name to smile at the camera, he automatically waves to say HI!

Mason got to officially meet MICKEY For the FIRST time! He sucked on his nose...then sort of pushed him away....I think he was over it :)

Craigs parents joined us around lunch to play!

She was sure to pack her bag and it was stuffed with her Snow white dress, shoes & the matching doll (who we noticed has old crusty band aids wrapped around both knees-we think from Paige's "band aid fettish" days)

This QUEEN was SO good! She saw Paige was in her Snow white dress and immediately gave her attitude :) She sat and talked with her about NOT taking apples from strangers-

Paige had NO idea what she was talking about :)

Paige kept asking WHY IS SHE NOT SMILING MOMMY???

These 2 are very easily entertained....lucky for us!
