Memories.....

Paige and I were home from church today so we were looking through old pictures and found these cute video clips from some of my favorite times with Paige. I just think that from 1 year to 2 years was the best! She was just learning everything and it was so fun, and it was just her and me.....Love my girl!

Another year of fun and traditions!

It was fun to have a quick visit from Craigs Grandma and Grandpa Blume this year. Paige served them up some of her famous "hot chocolate tea" each in their own pricess tea cups and was a great hostess! :)

He was spoiled all weekend and now it seems to become accustomed to arms while sleeping, which poses a problem when I am the only one here now :)

Instead of our traditional weekend in Julian, we had 24 Watsons at our house this year....

Despite our lack of furniture and places to sit, everyone found a place to pass out after dinner.

( I could have put some embarrasing sleeping pictures on here but im still in the holiday mood so I wont .... yet! :) )

Nativity at the Frys-glad there are kids to take over because I think without them, we would all still have to be putting on the sheets and garland around our heads!

Then due to the hurricane winds in corona Santa put the jump house for Paige to find in the garage, which was then moved into the living room. Seems that we have purchased a new piece of furniture for a while:)

Its like a "cage thats not really a cage"....I highly recommend it!

We had a great Christmas! Hope you did too!

Always fun.

My friend Michelle came a couple weeks ago and took our christmas pictures for us. She is always amazing and so I thought id share a couple favorites. Others I already put in our Christmas card.......

She came when Paige was 10 days old also and we put together a collage of her as a newborn. I know its not my babies "prime" moment in thier life to take pictures, with wrinkly skin flaking off and no smiles, but I love them more because you forget how little and scrunchy they were so fast!

Let the sibling torture begin.....

So, I walked in to Paige holding our camera taking pictures of EVERYTHING in the house, little did I know she was also torturing her brother at the same time!

It begins with a flash in the face of a sleeping baby.......

Shell pay for that when shes older :)

Ive also found him screaming and her wrapping stickers around each finger saying he needed bandaids! :)

If only it could stay this simple when they are teenagers :)

Oh the weather outside is frightful........

We looked out our window today and saw this....!!!!!

And then we woke up! :)

Wishing that the snow I keep seeing up on the mountains would majically appear in our backyard for a day! :)

This last weeks adventures....

We got our tree Tuesday night and it was one of the best trees weve ever found! We usually spend the fortune and go home with a tree that ends up being really crooked (but only if you look at it from the left side of the room :)) or has big holes or something....so we were very excited to have found this one. I still think its the most bizarre thing that we cut down a HUGE pine tree from a forest and put it INSIDE our house and decorate it.....who started that one?? :)

We decorated it last night...these pictures are all out of order......and im running on very little sleep :)

Craig looks really happy in this one because its his favorite part....putting on the lights!! He can barely sleep the night before just because hes so excited :)

Our pile of decorations....we were looking at them all and they are the best ornaments because they have been collected over the years from family. We exchange ornaments each christmas and end up with some of the funnest ornaments that mean something to keep and bring out each year.

Paige was the flower girl in my friend Jessicas wedding last saturday at the Nixon library. It was a beautiful wedding and she was quite the twirler. Even though all the girls forgot to throw the flowers down the isle :) They looked so cute and Paige remembered that she had forgotten during the reception so she toook her basket and just turned it over and dumped them all out on the dance floor....apparently that made up for it.

I must have eaten way too much on thanksgiving because my water broke early Friday morning .

Craig and I went into the hospital around 5:00 that night and at 6:10am he was here! He was just about a week early.

It was a crazy thanksgiving weekend....one we werent expecting but made us all that much more grateful for all that we have.

Our Rainbow

I dont know if anyone else saw this really cool rainbow last week, or if it was just out my kitchen window but I was so impressed by it. I love the little things in life that actually make us stop what we are doing and take the time to focus on the beautiful creations around us. Life and making dinner paused and I took Paige outside and we just watched it until it disappeared.

Halloween this year was different than the last couple with Paige. She actually "got" what was going on and was so excited for it to come. (Even though shes been dressing up in her costume for 2 months). She wouldnt stick her hand in the pumpkin to clean it out to save her life, so daddy had to come to the rescue. It was "too icky sticky" !! We used those punch out things to carve them this year, which made us look a little "martha"-
Paige just kept saying im so excited im so excited, thank you so much i love it! She really is very appreciative when you do or give her anything, either she really knows how to work us, or shes just a really sweet baby :) I think its the 2nd one :)

Trunk or Treat's over! Its time for Christmas Decorating in the next 2 weeks and then on to having this baby :) Wow, someone get me some energy for the next 2 months please!
