Disneyland!!!!

I havent been since October and going with 2 kids was not 1st on my list....however when family calls and says 'were all going' want to meet us? OF COURSE! I have help!! :) I was actually able to go on Splash mountain (and got stuck-on top of the drop before dropping..yeah its not the best place to be stuck!) , Thunder Mountain (and got stuck) yeah not good luck with rides today..... thanks aunt sue for letting me be a "big girl" for the day :)

Aunt Sue bought him his first "Disney apparel" , she thought since there were no grandmas around it was her chance to spoil him.

He was asleep in the stroller during the parade. We happened to be right where Ursula is when it stopped to do the " family time" dance-and so he woke up to a GIANT octupus singing.....
his face really says it all! :)

Last weeks in pictures.....

Paige started her Dance class again this month! She was so excited-we hope it goes good this year....She is in there with her BFF Taylor :) and "Taylor Ojeda"-

They somehow always end up next to each other in line.....at one point they were sitting BELTING out the song from little mermaid "wish I could be part of that world......"

If anything they just look so cute in thier ballet clothes!

Paigie in her "dirt pit"......She thought it was the coolest thing to sit on top of it and wave- I think she thought it was a "Float" at Disneyland :)

We have to fill in the planters around the house and back wall with dirt and plant something colorful and pretty FINALLY! :) Were actually done with half the backyard but havent taken pictures yet......

Lets all have a moment of silence for the plants we have planted......as they only have a few weeks until I end up killing them :)

Something tells me I'm not going to be able to torture him with "decorative" pictures like I could Paige :) hahaha.

Our "romantic" valentines Family dinner with sparkling cider & our FAVORITE part-chocolate fondue!!!! I always buy enough sparkling cider so we can drink it until our "hearts are content"

I found sparkling Apple pomegranite this year-were huge fans now :)

So, I have always loved "wedding shows"....a wedding story, platinum weddings, my big fat fabulous wedding, etc... but the show that I found today is something that has changed me forever...and im not sure if its for the better! :)

MY BIG REDNECK WEDDING!!!!

I TIVO'd it today just to see what it was and boy did I hit the jackpot.....Craig and I havent laughed so hard watching a show in forever. We sat there with our jaws just dropped open in shock for the first 10 minutes and then once we saw the mattress racing, mud wrestling bride, and the big gulps at the reception we were on the floor.

Its on CMT - who knows when but if you are interested in a really good belly laugh and shock that the people in these shows are REAL-- set your TIVOS and enjoy! :)

You wont be dissapointed, well maybe you will have wished that your groomsmen were wearing JOHN DEER shirts and you were married under an alter built of strobe lights and beer cans!

Nighttime Craziness....

So, I was in the process of putting Paige to bed and my phone rang...It was my sister so i answered it.....this created a disturbance in the "nighttime routine" and left paige unattended for a couple minutes. When I went back in her room, she obviously had found her "summer" drawer and pulled out her Dora goggles and decided it was a really good night to wear them :). Of course, who doesnt wear swim goggles to sleep?! So I decided to let her get away with it and figured ill just come in later and take them off so she doesnt have "swim face" in the morning or bulging eyes :)

She was "put to bed" and a few minutes later I hear her roaming the halls upstairs and she must have felt the need to complete the outfit because she pulled out her hula skirt and hula'd up and down the halls ....... I am afraid because I was laughing so hard she thinks this is now part of a new nighttime routine :)!!!!

Paige has always loved to draw and do art projects. She began drawing circle head people last year about this time. I remember because it was when we were packing our townhome to move and all our boxes had little circle head people all over them :) . I wanted to post how her drawing of our family has evolved over the last 6 or 7 months. Now there have been many MANY more drawings than what I have taken pictures of.....but these are the best of the best......

Over the summer she drew this picture all on her own. she brought it to me and it was tooo cute because she had made all of us but put a little circle on my circle for our baby....

Still GIANT heads, GIANT eyes but now we have dots in our eyes and "cheeks" (the red things next to the line for the mouth)

Sometimes I get really long beautiful hair, but if I have long hair for some reason she doesnt give me arms or legs, so i asked her for shorter hair so that I can have the arms and legs :)

Ive gotta get this girl into Art classes soon.

Garth!!

Saturday night we went to one of the Garth Brooks concerts at Staples center. It was so much fun! He gave 5 concerts and raised 10 million dollars for the So Cal Fire departments!!! I wish this type of thing was done more often....if people just paid $50 per seat for a great concert and raise that type of money in a weekend......so many different charities/people around the world could benefit! We ended up with some great seats! Hes so fun and I love his music...after each song he would just stand there and take in the applause....he acts like he cant believe that people even come to hear him sing....

This was pretty much our view of him throughout most the concert......i wish someone would post a picture of me at this angle on their blog someday too :)

SO....then after a 2 hour show he leaves and of course we all know hell come back out...so keep cheering and just wait....and he comes out and starts a story about a girl who is working concessions at Staples center and she was on her break backstage and starts talking with him.....and so watch the 2nd video below....and then he ends the song....and brings her back out on center stage and says watch this...and has everyone take out their cameras and take a picture of them on the count of 3. It was a flash paparazzi/red carpet moment that you would dream about having just once in your life. So fun! and then he precedes to give her something else (watch the 2nd video). I thought it was so cute to see this girl who sells popcorn to get a chance and a moment like that-that all of us will probably never experience. He was sooooo wonderful to her and I'm sure a moment like that for her was pretty impressive!!! I was so happy for her :)

The stars alligned!!!

Mason is 2 months old today.

The stars alligned last night and he slept from 11pm to 630 am!!! HALLEJULIA!!!!!!

It must have been his gift to me :) Since he was born hes been up at 11, 2, 5 and 7. So I was only wishing and hoping for a stretch of maybe 4 hours.....but it was a dream come true last night :)

Im not thinking this will continue, but it definately was needed and necessary for my own sanity :)

We made it to church Sunday for the entire thing! :) He did pretty good and im back to the .... "what did I learn today ?" days at church. Forgot about that part....

and we finally got some pretty good smiling pictures on camera.....
