Yo ho.

So we are doing really well with the "theme" of his room....

However,

It definately hasnt been used for any sleeping for this little man yet :)

We try the bedtime routine...and when its done and we are about to leave he says

"All Done" and climbs out and into his crib.

Well see how much energy we can muster up in the next couple weeks to actually try harder to keep him in here !

Masons Big boy room.

With the new baby coming-its time to move Mason into a Big boy room :(

Makes me sad that my baby boy is big enough for his own bed...and scared that he will TORMENT us in the night getting out and up early in the mornings?! Time will only tell :)

This new room needed to be COOL because if not I knew we had NO chance of him wanting to stay in there.....

Mason is slightly obsessed with pirates right now so we went with that theme.

Thanks to my SUPER OCD painter husband we have the PERFECT line that goes around the room...nice since we arent doing chair rail yet.
The bed is a queen so we dont have to get rid of the bed that was already in there.
He LOVES the bedding and sings YO HO whenever he sees it.
(good sign?!)



Here lies the problem.
This bed has always been the 'jumping grandma bed'.
So im not sure we can get him to actually sleep in it :)
like I said..Time will tell....!!


Here it is sort of done....We have put up stickers made by Tanya that makes the room pretty cool.
So, I will have to post those later since they arent uploaded yet.

Cross your fingers we dont loose our minds trying to keep him in his "big boy bed" at night! :)

Family night in our little piece of heaven :)

Being that February is the month of LOVE....

We decided to incorporate our LOVE for each other during a Family Night a few weeks ago....

and CELEBRATE our other LOVE for DONUTS together!!!

They even have hearts on thier boxes...perfect for our theme :)

What says "I LOVE YOU!" more than a box of HOT OUT OF THE OVEN Krispy Kreme donuts?!

And no I do NOT have a photo of MY consumption during this evening - Craig kept trying to 'upload' something with his phone and I had VERY strong threatening words for him :)

We let the kids have thier 1 donut (since it was 8pm by now) and milk and they were in HEAVEN.

Then on the way out they take another stroll through the 'convayer belt of love' since the Hot light was still on and the employee at the end HANDS MY KIDS ANOTHER HOT DONUT!!!! HELLLOOOOOO LADY!

I scream OH NO NO NO! and it was TOO LATE.

The kids have happily accepted thier 2nd donut of glazed happiness and I would have had to pry them from thier screaming bodies :)

Oh well. Here they are happily leaving with another donut in hand!

I was once asked by Paige what we eat in heaven.....and I replied "THERE JUST BETTER BE DONUTS!" :)

Walk the dinosaur

Paige's Dance group had thier first competition this last weekend at the Disneyland Hotel.

Thier song this year is

Walk the dinosaur.

It is a lot more complicated of a routine this year and I had my doubts that this group of mostly 5 year olds were going to figure it out (because Im not sure I could even do it) haha.

But they did awsome and looked so cute.

Paige LOVES the stage and gets so excited to perform each time, which makes it all worth it.

They got 1st place in thier age division and 6th place overall.
I was told that was 'really good'....im never quite sure how these rankings work :)

The Day at Disneyland.

Tanya and I have been taking our girls to Disneyland together since they were about 8 months old.

We have not been to Disneyland together alone with NO DADS or Grandparents to help out in probably a year (maybe almost 2?)

We (being 7 months pregnant) decide to brave it and go before both our passes expire in the next couple months.

We are now quite a scene with 5 kids and 2 big bellies.

But it was a fun crazy day.

The girls stalked Alice down the street until she stopped for them.


The conversation in lines went something like this:
"Mason get over here, Stop chasing ashlyn, Stay in line, Stop shaking the chain, get your hands off him, stop touching her, want a snack?, get off the railing, youre going to get hurt-get down!, Do you want me to beat you!? (jk)"

So excited that the Mommies actually let them wait in line for PETER PAN!
Not sure the kids knew this ride existed :)

I wish I could get to the picture I have of these girls in thier stroller in bathing suits at 9 months at this same spot.

The kids did pretty good through the day with as few meltdowns as possible.

In the line we were subjected to a lot of "looks" as our kids were a little 'on the crazy side'.

The line to get dinner ALMOST did me in....I witnessed the scene of a lifetime by my very own Paige...over a piece of green streamer and macaroni and cheese.

Apparently it was quite the comedy show because the couple behind me LAUGHED OUT LOUD at the situation...and only laughed HARDER when things got crazier.

It took everything I had not to turn around :)

At least someone got a good laugh out of it.....

Toy story is always a favorite.

And after a cinnamon pretzel on the way out to the cars....

and praying me or Tanya dont go into premature labor....

we had made it out ALIVE and didnt lose any kids in the process.

Even better.....They passed out the second we got in the car!!!

Lots of fun memories....some I want to forget and some I know I will think back and laugh at how CRAZY this day was. :)

I looked up at my son at the dinner table tonight....

and his hair looked VAGUELY familiar.....?!

Hmmm...could it be?!

Yup!
Is it just ME? or does his hair resemble this crazy lady!? :)

A little Bling never hurt anyone....

"Mommy, Can I get my ears pierced?"

"What?"

"Can I get my ears pierced?"

" um, you can ask you Dad tonight and if he says Yes, then its fine with me"

SO here we are......The next day sitting in Claires waiting for holes to be put in my babies ears! :)

Her hands were clammy and sweaty.

I knew she was so nervous but trying to be brave.

They didnt have 2 people to do both ears at one time...so she braved the one at a time piercing.

She only broke down for a few seconds after....but she was giggling and smiling as soon as she saw them in the mirror.

What else would she pick but Pink daisy sparkling earrings. SO CUTE!

A little bling is a LOT of fun for this little girl :)

5 years.

Our baby girl turned 5 years old yesterday.

We finally broke out the home videos of the day she was born and watched them with her.

I CANT believe its been 5 years-but at the same time it seems like SO long ago with all that has happened since that day.

Paige is one of the best kids anyone can have. She is such a HUGE help to me every day. Its like having another set of hands. She is a great friend. She truly cares for each of them. She is "motherly" to other kids and sometimes adults :) Shes talented in so many ways. Great at art, dancing, writing. Self motivating and teaches herself to do a lot of things without help from us. She has been amazing to watch grow up each year.

New Years Day.

This is the 3rd year we spent New years day in Balboa .

This year Craig was helping his parents move thier final stuff to the new house so we rushed to make it to the beach for sunset...and really glad we did.

23 weeks pregnant......

Met up with the Jorgenson kids...not sure where thier parents were tho.

Yes! we FINALLY took the perfect sunset picture together.

I mean seriously....its like Craig cant take a bad picture. haha :)

The Christmas Kick off party!

The weekend before Christmas is the Watson cabin weekend extrodinare.

24 of us stayed in Wrightwood in 1 cabin this year ( we were missing 5 people)

Its definately a 'bonding' experience :)

We could surivive here for months with the amount of food we bring each year.
