Paige has always loved to draw and do art projects. She began drawing circle head people last year about this time. I remember because it was when we were packing our townhome to move and all our boxes had little circle head people all over them :) . I wanted to post how her drawing of our family has evolved over the last 6 or 7 months. Now there have been many MANY more drawings than what I have taken pictures of.....but these are the best of the best......
Still GIANT heads, GIANT eyes but now we have dots in our eyes and "cheeks" (the red things next to the line for the mouth)

Saturday night we went to one of the Garth Brooks concerts at Staples center. It was so much fun! He gave 5 concerts and raised 10 million dollars for the So Cal Fire departments!!! I wish this type of thing was done more often....if people just paid $50 per seat for a great concert and raise that type of money in a weekend......so many different charities/people around the world could benefit! We ended up with some great seats! Hes so fun and I love his music...after each song he would just stand there and take in the applause....he acts like he cant believe that people even come to hear him sing....
This was pretty much our view of him throughout most the concert......i wish someone would post a picture of me at this angle on their blog someday too :)

We made it to church Sunday for the entire thing! :) He did pretty good and im back to the .... "what did I learn today ?" days at church. Forgot about that part....
and we finally got some pretty good smiling pictures on camera.....
Sweet boy!I need serious help with a serious problem that is driving me nuts!
**ok so maybe its not all that serious :)**
Jeans.....I cannot find a decent pair of jeans that fits well and doesnt stretch out after wearing them for 10 minutes to make me look like I am way heavier than I am......that is not the look i am going for! :) I have been out 2 times WITHOUT kids (which is a miracle day in itself) and I come home with a pair of jeans that I think wow, these maybe could be it....i found them! and NOPE its back to the drawing board again.....return them at the mall.....wait until I can go again.....go again....come home ..... bad jeans. I am not sure if its a mixture of hating trying on a million pairs of pants , in and out of the dressing room that makes me just "pick one" or the mirror in the dressing room or WHAT??
But i need your help.....have you found a pair of jeans that you LOVE???!!! Please share your knowlege with me....ps i am short so great jeans on a "normal" person may or may not work for me :)
Can you please give me some hope that these shopping/returning days are over :)
I spy...cute girls SOOO proud of the birthday cakes they made each other...singing "happy birthday" back and forth...... 
& dress up outfits that need to be updated to the current sizes that they are now and not from when they were 18 months old.....or vegas show girls :) But thier outfits are very put together and accesorized! (is that how you spell that?? :)

Mason can officially smile :)!!! It was so fun yesterday trying to keep him going, but hed definately get sick of Paige and I in his face and stop. But its so cute to see the newborn crooked smile.....it makes me sad hes not really in the "newborn" stage anymore, but so excited because now the fun starts......hard to believe hes almost 7 weeks.
Paige turns 3 today.....it seems to have gone so fast, but then it also seems like shes been here forever :) She is so much fun to have around and never ceases to amaze us with the things she says.

We went down to Balboa Fun Zone on New years day with the Jorgensons and it was so much fun! It was amazingly clear, no wind, not very crowded and tons of fun! I didnt think it could get much better and then we went over to the beach. I have been to the beach tons of times, i practically grew up there-but I dont ever remember a day like this! The ocean looked like a lake, and it seemed you could swim to catalina island it was so clear and calm....dolphins were jumping...it was straight out of a movie! :) The sunset was one of the best ive EVER seen.....it just kept getting more beautiful as it went down and we had a blast snapping pictures and having fun with this amazing backdrop we had. It was a really great way to start a new year~ hope to have many more days like that ahead.
