Relish life as we live it......

Our friend Heather returned home to our Father in Heaven on Monday after fighting Cancer for almost 3 years.

She fought a tough battle.

She did EVERYTHING possible to stay here on Earth.

That was not the plan for her.

We dont know why but we do know that she has no more pain and suffering that her Earthly body brought to her these last couple years.

She was beautiful inside and out & left a great example to a LOT of people.

We will miss her and feel for her family, and young children as there is a long road ahead for them.

A friend of mine went onto Heathers family blog this week ( I havent been able to go there yet), and found the quote Heather had on there that is so true now.

I posted it below.

This is the place we live for one week out of the year every August.......

San Elijo Beach Campground

Although I really DONT like Camping.....I LOVE BEING WITH MY FAMILY !!!

So, this is always a week to look forward to!!

Late night laughing, smores, marshmallow fights, CHUBBY BUNNY, Ocean each morning, Sunsets each night, YUMMY food.

We seriously eat like were at home while were camping.....everyone does such a good job!

We TIE DYE shirts on the sand every year and you NEVER know how they will turn out!

This year they were pretty awsome!!

I made the kids some hats this time to match and the family pics brought us straight to 1988!! :)

Out drying.....People always walk by and admire our "works of art"....

Its just camping jealousy :)

Mason is a PRO boogie boarder....out of no where he grabs it off the sand and drags it to the water....(like he knew what he was doing) and I ran after him and he layed on it and just layed there. I guess he was asking me to Pull him around :) Which I did and HE LOVED!!!!! Hes so funny...standing up lauging...getting knocked off by waves and getting right back on......This boy is destined to have a career with some sort of water.....lets just hope its not sincronized swimming :)

Then when you have a 35 pound diaper full of salt water and sand you begin to "chafe" a little...shhhh....dont want to embarrass him..
He spent almost 2 days naked on the beach - I think the rule is "under 3 you can be free".

Our "SMALL" group.

We bring half our camp down each day. 10 umbrellas, 20 chairs, blow up pool, 4 dogs, cages, toys, surf board, boogie boards, raft, ice chests.......oh yeah and one day was "craft day" where there were 3 tables, 2 power drills, etc etc.... :)

I mean its like GO BIG OR GO HOME.

SO pretty!!! Its the perfect beach to play with kids on.

Or learn to surf.

WE LIVED OFF THESE!!

Because I wake up at home the next day sad that we arent at the beach with everyone. Its such an awsome week!! So lucky to have such an amazing family that WANTS to come each year and spend time together.

Our Saturday.

BABY KENDALL is finally here!

Since weve been sick we had to wait a whole week to meet this little girl....

It was worth the wait!

These pictures were towards the end of our visit so shes done with us :) She was so good and quiet the whole time until picture time.

She is SOOO little, you really forget how light and little they come.

Mason was REALLY concerned when she was crying....it was cute.

She came happy and healthy! The Armstrongs are blessed.

Once we left thier house we decided to head to the "wedge" in Newport because there were supposed to be HUGE waves. Some were 20 feet! I think EVERYONE in O.C. had the SAME idea.....so crazy crowded...but we saw a few big waves and a few crazy body surfers putting on a show. Its always nice just to be sitting on the sand.

These look small in pictures but they were around 10-12 feet-and crazy currents.

Cant wait to see how she grows and how much fun all these kids will have together.

Lowes had a Free kids workshop to build a treasure chest so we decided to try it out
& see if Craig could pass on his amazing "builder skills" to his children...

This Carpentry Princess needed the perfect builder outfit...here it is...the skirt and cowgirl boots! Oh yeah!

Paige was LOVING every minute of building her treasure chest.

Craig was impressed with how well she could "hammer" the nails.....

I was impressed that me and Mason lasted that long in Lowes together with our ADD.

I pushed him running through the aisles on a Flat cart for a while....my amusement level is that of a 19 month old...yes i know :)

Glad Paigie loved Spending time with daddy doing something they both now love....

7 years!!!

We just finished watching our wedding day dvd. It is our tradition each year.

Its hard to believe that was 7 years ago!!

To me, honestly, it seems like it could be 20 with the amount of things weve done already....I cant believe weve fit all this in in 7 years!

I LOVE looking back at these pictures each year. It makes me laugh. We look like babies!

Our pictures are so prehistoric since we got married the year before digital was popular, so they dont scan very great. But we are grateful to have the memories that we do have.

This was after our hot date Saturday to Captain Jacks in Sunset Beach.

If you are a steak and seafood fan you have GOT to go!

We GORGED ourselves....Id embarrass myself if I listed all the things we ate there that night. All I will say is that it ended with us POLISHING OFF our Mud Pie topped with Fudge that was enough to feed 10 adults.
