Around the Christmas House....

Our Mr. Miles had a WONDERFUL 1st Christmas

(if i do say so myself!)

He got his first tooth on the bottom on Dec. 17th (first night of huddle hut)!!!

His second tooth came through sometime after that before New years eve...and thats how accurate youre going to get for the 3rd child right?! :)

He loved the tree and lights and the train we had running around the tree.

We introduced him to the Christmas Story movie...
which we watched EVERY DAY for about a week! :)


We loved getting out Papa Steves train this year....
Its fun to watch your OWN kids enjoy something that you grew up enjoying...those are the things that tie us all together and makes such awesome memories.

We also did the Advent Fairy.

Each day there would be a new 'activity' left for the kids to do that day...if mom was tired it would be a good movie and popcorn...

some other things we did were:

Visit the LA temple lights

Go to downtown Disney and enjoy the Hotel decorations

Go see Santa and take picture with him

Drive through neighborhoods and see Christmas lights

Deliver treats

Make crafts/ornaments
Disney on Ice

Campout by the Christmas tree and read Christmas stories.

Love the break from life Christmas brings.

Huddle Hut Time!!

After the kinder singing it was time to head to the mountains!!!

We met up with our family to have our Cousin Camp weekend.

Were so official we even have our own banners now - ha!

(didnt get a pic of the really cool one...)

This is the day paige waits for ALL YEAR!!

SHe LOVES to get together with everyone (29 of us this year) and hang out for the weekend.

Getting to sleep on a bunk bed isnt half bad either :) Waiting for everyone to get there after a Fun night of rain and traffic!

My cousin Shauna is preggos and due in May.

Before they left Idaho they had a sonogram to find out whether they were having a boy or a girl.

The Dr. sealed the results and put them in an envelope and Shauna gave the envelope to our cousins wife Kaylie (who lives in idaho also)...she opened it...called a friend in valley center (so cal)...who made a cake that would be died blue for a boy and pink for a girl..the cake was delivered to the cabin...so we ALL got to find out along with them what they were having when they cut open the cake! It was pretty fun!

Craig was hoping for a swirl tho.

Kinder Christmas Breakfast & show!

The friday before winter break Paige's Kinder class had a pancake breakfast and show full of lots of singing and dancing.

It was the cutest thing ever - of course!

Here is our little reindeer.

They sang about 4 Christmas songs with lots of dancing and hand motions that cracked us all up!

I love her teacher. She has been so good for Paige.

This little brother is ALWAYS SOOO proud of his big sis.

**side note: Craig left the breakfast after the 'show' to go to his company party and was awarded Presidents award!! GOOD JOB BABE!! So proud of you**

Christmas Lights in LA

One Sunday early December we decided to head up to the LA temple and see the Christmas Lights.

Something we havent done since before Craig and I even knew each other.

(10 years plus)

We also got to see the amazing new vistors center full of lots of fun things to do and see.

We headed out to take pictures with the temple...the kids loved rolling down the big lawn at night...and I loved taking these pics and NOT being able to see thier faces until I put them on the computer since it was so dark out there :)

So funny.

The temple was georgous with all the lights.

It was fun to take the kids to see this temple since it was the one we were married in.

Paige loved seeing it and said she wanted to get married there too one day because thats where our family started. sweet girl.

We are blessed to live so close to such amazing and holy buildings.

Pelphrey Christmas

First Christmas party of this year was with the Pelphreys.

We all met up for a yummy Mexican dinner at the Blumes.

Craigs Grandparents even flew from Oregon to come this year. That was a HUGE deal.

We were so thankful the crammed themselves into a plane to visit us in crazy So Cal!
