The Jorgensons were adopted for the day once again and joined us!

2nd of July Bash!

July 2nd

3rd annual 4th of July Bash.

We always LOVE having this tradition at our house each year.

We had a lot of friends & few neighbors come & made for a really fun night!!

2 months!

Miles' 2 Month (actually 11 week) Drs appointment Stats:

12 pounds

23 inches

Getting pretty chunky!!!

We couldnt catch smiles on this day. But he is Smiling and laughing now.

Mostly at night when Paige and Mason are sleeping and he has us all to his self :)

Ice Skating Dreams....

We happen to watch one of those STARS ON ICE shows on tv one night...and Paige fell in love with thier sparkly costumes instantly!

She thought it was like "dancing..only on ice instead".

Now, she was begging to take ice skating lessons...

I was not a fan...shes dancing 3 days a week already...and Its like the 'youll shoot your eye out' but i kept saying..' youll crack your head open" :)

Im always an encouraging mother....

SO FINALLY we took her to a rink that has a 'try day' for kids over 3 yrs old on Saturdays.

Well see what this ice skating stuff is all aboout....

she could hardly wait...and was all suited up to hang out in the freezing rink for an hour-I even made her wear her helmet :)

We werent really thinking..but as soon as we walked in...Mason was shouting "I ICE SKATE TOO I ICE SKATE TOO!" soooooo excited.....

Craig and I just looked at each other like we need a solution to this or its gonna be a long 30 minute 'try it' lesson :)

Craig walked him up to the man behind the window and said 'hes here for the ice skating class'...and he handed him a pair of skates and he was good to go!!

Mason apparently passes for a 3 year old thank goodness...

and now i was thinking....HES GONNA CRACK HIS HEAD HES GONNA CRACK HIS HEAD! :)

They each held one hand of the instructor and SLID ALL OVER THE ICE...sliding..hanging like monkeys all over the place...pretty halarious.....but after a couple minutes they both got the hang of it...and even our watermelon headed child was having the time of his life!

Paige could get across the rink back and forth on her own!

Mason could now "fall with style"...and did better than I thought he would..and even looked like he was actually skating and turning around! Awsome to watch!

Paiges dream of ice skating was now fullfilled....we told her it would be MANY years before she would be weearing the sequenced outfits on the ice...and she said she didnt need lessons anymore...she would just go ice skating with her Daddy when they felt like it!

I like that decision :)

Peer Model Preschool

Since Paige missed the Kindergarden cut off to start this year (and all her friends were going), we signed her up to be a peer model in the Rocket program thru our school district.

The rocket program helps kids who have learning disabilities or some kind of delay in the couple years before they are set to start public kindergarden.

Each class has 1 or 2 'peer models' who are there to be examples for the other kids.

Paige was put into a classroom with Ms. Smith and 10 other kids.

The week before school ended they had a night where they sang some songs and did the "bear hunt" acted out for the parents.

Really cute!

I wasnt sure what to expect from putting her into this program as a 'preschool ' type experience and she got way more out of it than I thought she would.

Not so much of the 'educational' part of the classroom, but the social.

She learned how to work/play with kids who need a little more attention and lack the vocabulary most of the kids she is in contact with all the time have.

She LOVED all the kids.

She knew each of thier 'struggles' and would tell me how she helped them each day. It was so cute to listen to her talk with real compassion towards them.

and all the kids LOVED her!

One day we were running a couple minutes late dropping her off...as I came flying into the parking lot I saw her classmates in thier line walking towards the classroom and away from the parking lot. I pulled to the curb and the line stopped....

Ms. Smith came over to get Paige from me and was laughing because all the kids were yelling at her to STOP walking-They saw our car

and said Paige is coming! Paige is coming! :)

Good job Paige!

I know you will be just as wonderful in your Kindergarden class too.

4 years of dance!

Paige has finished another year of dance.

This year she was on the Showstopper team & loved it!

Paige realy liked Ms. Amy this year. She loved when she called her "paigie boo" & fixed her ponytails :)

She gave paige the skills and motivation to do her best each time they danced.

Her little bro was SOOOO proud. He locked onto her side as soon as he saw her and didnt let go. It was TOO cute!!

Grandma & Grandpa Blume Came to support her too.

They feel like movie stars im sure.

So proud of Paige.

She is so amazing at everything she does and were so proud of her!

Daddy!

To show how much they love thier Daddy on Fathers Day, the kids made him this amazing tie!!

They are lucky to have a Daddy that loves them as much as he does.

I might have told them...the more glitter the more it shows you love him! :)

GO FIGHT WIN!

Paige went with her friend Kelsey to a 2 day Cheer camp & had a blast.

It was 3 hours long and she came home exausted both days!

The 2nd day they had a 'pep rally' to show off thier new moves :)

and here is what our girls learned :) SKILLS!!

With thier "spirit sticks"....and then she dropped it...isnt there a curse with that or something? Im not familiar with cheerleading other than movies that make fun of it :)

She learned a few cheers so that they can join the 'big girls' in September to cheer on a High school football team! Fun stuff never ends.....

Love this happy baby!

Sweet Miles has finally started to become one with his little body.

Less crying, less gasssssss, more smiles and more rest for Mom and Dad!

He is our cute little Nugget :)

Memorial Day

Playing at Grandma & Grandpa Blumes house.

The kids had a blast.

Mason was a crazy man...jumping in...and giving mom a scare every 5 minutes...good thing swim lessons are only a few weeks away...I think my hair is falling out after watching him in action!

These girls and thier snorkels. Paige is a SNORKLING PRO NOW! Its so awsome.

Shes willing to dive for quarters...if you have a few to spare shell do a show for you :)

Sounds like a nice part time job haha.
