Craigs "15 minutes" in pictures.

Our family has talked about getting on a game show for YEARS!

We finally went for it and booked a date at the end of June for 15 of us to go to try and get on PRICE IS RIGHT.

Craig was a little grumpy about it the day before but went along for the ride...like he typically does :)

He left his "red matching shirt" in the car and the shirt he had on had a logo on the front. Logos are not allowed so he turned his shirt INSIDE OUT and proceeded through the interview process with the DREW's DIVAS group! :)

4 hours of waiting and laughing in line and were seated in the studio audience.

The LIGHTS, and the MUSIC makes you go a little nutty!!!!

You cant hear ANYTHING.....

They hold up poster boards with your name on it on stage if your name is called to go up and next thing we know its.......

CRAIG BLUME COME ON DOWN!!!

WE WENT A LITTLE CRAZY!!!

Craig was called in the first group of 4 to go up!

He bid on 2 prizes and didnt win.....the third times a charm!!

HE WON A COUCH and ended up on the stage.......US FREAKING OUT AGAIN!!!!!

CRAIG LEAPING AND JUMPING ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!
IM telling you...those lights and sounds turn you into a crazy person :)

and then we hear........A TRIP TO SPAIN!!!!!!

(Craigs dream to go back after he served his mission there like 15 years ago)

He was a "little" excited.

He had to do SQUEEZE play...take one number out of a group of 5...

For some reason we thought he should take out the 9....THANK GOODNESS BECAUSE WE WERE RIGHT!!!!!!

HE WON THE WEEK TRIP TO SPAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SLIGHTLY FREAKING OUT.....Beating on each other.....screaming....jumping....

I thought we were going to end up with bruises the next day! Halarious.

Here goes Craig and his Leaping skills once again!!!!

Then HE CANT believe he just won!!!

He does a shout out to PAIGE AND MASON while the wheel is spinning....good dad :)

Then he spins a 55, spins again....goes over!!....they say it didnt go all the way around....spins again....spins a 20 and gets 75 to beat the girl standing with 70 cents.

HE whips out his Ninja moves showing the other contestants who RULES the Game! hahhaha.

AND Craig is OFF to the showcase showdown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first lady passes him the 1st showcase....

He bids on a week trip to new york along with lots of fun things while hes there.....

He bids and we think he might have over bid.....im sweating in the audience and about to fall to the ground :)

He bid 19,500 and he was UNDER by only $600!!!!!!!!

I RUN and storm the stage......and I did not know I was greeting a CRAZY MAN who just won the SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN and was NOT prepared to be swung around like a rag doll....i was thinking is this REALLY happening HALARIOUS!!!!

And the family storms the stage.....we looked like a Mosh pit.

U. Ric leads craig over to the models and the prizes....he has his "excited eyes" on ! :)

We were ALL sooooo exausted!!! the show took EVERYTHING we had and drained our brains....

all we wanted after the show was a COKE and Tylenol haah.

I dont know how you actually bid correctly up there....I would have panicked and yelled out crazy numbers :)

Glad we have a couple amazing trips coming up.....

Well figure out how to pay the taxes later :)

My Birthday 2009!

It is officially the LAST YEAR of my YOUTH!!!

29!!!!

When you say your age and its still in your 20's you still feel "young" and since in my head I feel like I am 14 that is still ok to say I am 29. I dont know what I will do next year when I have to say 30....!!! (lets not go there for now) Does that mean I have to feel like an adult?! :)

I took the kids to Disneyland with me to collect my "Birthday fun card" in the 100 degree heat!

Let me tell you how fun that was. Lets just say we didnt do 1 ride.

It was fun to see the Halloween stuff up but not the same when you are dripping with sweat so well wait until it cools down to go back and actually enjoy it! :)

I need a sweatshirt on soon!!! Im having withdrawls!!!
I bought Mason his YO HO hat with his OWN name on it!!
He wears mickey ears with Paiges name on it...because he has NOTHING of his own :)

And then we celebrated with a bunch of friends watching Craig WIN BIG on the Price is Right!!!

I was swung around the stage like a rag doll on National Television by a Crazy man who just won $30,000 in prizes and was having an out of body experience.

Some may call it "romantic" ... I call it AWKWARD :)
hahahhahahaha.


My Family is healthy and happy and we have GREAT friends and family and thats all you can ask for!

We spent last Friday night at Disneyland with the Chapmans.

We were hoping that since "halloween time" didnt open for another week, the crowds wouldnt be too bad....we were WRONG! :)

They were having a "suprise showing" of the new Halloween Fireworks.....which apparently brought all of OC to see....so it felt like a night in the middle of July....but we managed to still have a great time!

Is it normal for Mickey to hold the HEAD of the child in front of him?! :)

Scott taking on the Child Limo.....the kids are exctatic to be squished in like that too!! :)

and after going on Toy story, being led in circles around the park by the parade police, Cruisin the Jungle cruise and Aaron being soaked on Splash mountain...the kids were DONE!!

Not to mention it was about 11PM! :)

Time to head home.....but well be back for some pumpkin festivities soon!

Visit from the Great Grandparents!

Craigs Grandparents came down for a special visit 2 weeks ago.....

This is the first time they had met Mason so we had to get a few photos.

Our kids have all 8 GREAT grandparents still alive-pretty crazy if you ask me! :)

Mason is a BIT obsessed with Kendall!!!

Its really cute....hes sweet with her.....tries to be soft but then pokes on her eyes.

They had a great trip to California from Oregon to visit family!

Grandpa Pelphrey who was baptized a couple years ago went through the temple for the first time and was able to be sealed to his parents, his wife, and thier family to be sealed together.

It was pretty amazing.

I have been craving Green Olives......

AND LEMONADE.......
Which can only mean 1 thing......
WERE PREGNANT AGAIN!!!!

Newest member is expected to arrive in Mid April 2010.

Labor Day Tradition.

I cant figure out why everything is underlined....??!!! :)

So anyways,

We headed out to Disneyland Monday for Labor day.

Always fun to have a day with smaller crowds and a FULL day with Daddy!!!

Uploading these pictures made me realize how BIG my kids are getting.....crazy!

This boy is OBSESSED with Mickey. It was one of his first words and when we walked in to meet him he started spinning and his legs were going up and down so fast he could hardly control them!

He would NOT turn and look at me for the picture. He just had to keep staring up at DITTY.

I think we all wished this was a swimming fountain.....water looked so nice :)

Grandma and Grandpa K met up with us after lunch and we took the train as our transportation for almost the rest of the night.....Mason was in heaven.

Great Grandparents & US.

Our Friend Heather was laid to rest at Rose Hills Cemetary.

While we were there we decided to and visit my Great Grandparents who are also there.

I never knew my Great Grandpa but I know he was a wonderful man because my Grandma is one of the BEST!!

My Great Grandma was known as the "white grandma" because of her beautiful white hair that was always "done" perfectly.

She was an amazing lady and example to us all!!! She lived to be almost 90!

The best memory I have of her is during a family trip to Disneyland in 1993 when she was 85 years old SHE RODE BIG THUNDER MOUNTAIN RAILROAD and LOVED it! :)

and then we had to laugh when we saw this headstone right next to thiers.
